The trek to Australian Camp generally starts from Phedi or kande, which are about an hour drive from Pokhara. The hike from Khade is bit short and more direct, which takes about 2 hours.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Drive Pokhara to Kande 36 Km, trek to Australian Camp and Dhampus Village 5 hours

After breakfast in the hotel, about 8 am drive towards Kande 36 km from Lake side Pokhara, it takes an hour by private vehicle. We commence our hike uphill to Kande, it will take an hour to Australian Camp, it is real local name is Thulo Kharka its meaning Big Meadow! If weather clear you have beautiful views of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri range and also beautiful green hills. After that we walk downhill to Dhampus village through the refreshing greenery jungle. We will have lunch at the mid beautiful Dhampus village in front of the stunning views Himalayas ranges if weather will clear. After lunch hike to down to Phedi and drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel
