Day 1: Arrival Lucknow & transfer to Nepalgunj

In the evening, our tour manager will brief you shortly about trip program. Today you have rest & relax day in Nepalgunj. Dinner in the hotel. You have to wake up very early morning, breakfast will be serve as a packed from the hotel if you have 1st flight in the morning or you will have breakfast in the hotel if your flight start from 2nd flight and then our tour manager will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Simikot. The first flight timing will be normally start by 6.00 am so the first flight passengers need to be report the airport by 5 am. And the flight take off will depend on weather condition of Nepalgunj & Simikot region. Sometimes the flight will delay by few minutes or by few hours OR even cancelled also in case of unexpected bad weather in between. In such situation, we request the travelers to be patience and co-operate our team for smooth operation. If flight cancelled, we will stay in Nepalgunj and will try for next day. Upon landing in Simikot, our tour manager will assist to transfer you into our guesthouse in Simikot. It is being local village, the guesthouses are near to the airport so you should walk for 5 to 10 minutes depending upon the booked guesthouse. In the meantime, our local representative will also assist for completing immigration formalities in Simikot. You will provided lunch in the guesthouse. And later you can wonder around Simikot village that helps for you to be acclimatize in your onward journey. Evening Hi-Tea and Dinner will be provided and overnight stay at the guesthouse. Note: Moreover, there might be a chance of arranging your today's program with continue the charter helicopter to fly Hilsa (Nepal border). This program may apply depending upon the situation of climate and the availability of the helicopters to clear the crowd of the yatris on next day. • Overnight at Guesthouse in Simikot (twin / triple / dormitory sharing room with common toilet and shower) • Nepalgunj to Simikot: 1 hour (by Twin otter aircraft OR Dornier aircraft with 18 seats) • Simikot to Hilsa: 20 minutes by B2/B3 (Euro copter) Helicopter with 4 or 5 seats

Today early morning wake up and have breakfast at the Simikot guesthouse. Walk down to the airport with your luggage (your main luggage will carry by our porter). Check in the airport counter with boarding Pass and then fly to Hilsa (Nepal border) by chartered helicopter. In Hilsa, our local representative will take care in teahouse until all group landed in Hilsa so the earlier flight group will have to wait for a while. And then he/she will escort you to go for Tibet border with the arrangement of necessary porters for carrying your luggage. Sometimes, we may have to wait in Hilsa for some extent even after all groups arrive because we have to check Tibet side whether the guide & vehicle reach in border or not. Sometimes, it takes little longer time for Tibetan guide in order to receive us along with all permit and military formalities. Once everything is in order, we cross border to Tibet and we drive to Taklakot (Purang - 3800 m.) from Sher (China border) which takes about an hour. You will have rest today in Taklakot (Purang) for acclimatization. You have to go for light walking around Taklakot town to adjust your body with Tibet climate. • Overnight at Hotel (twin or triple sharing room with attached bathroom) • Simikot to Hilsa: 20 minutes by B2/B3 (Euro copter) Helicopter with 4 or 5 seats • Hilsa to Sher trek: 15 minutes • Sher to Taklakot drive: 25 km / 1 hour by bus • Overnight at Hotel (twin/ triple sharing room with attached bathroom)

After early morning breakfast, we will be ready to leave for our ultimate destination at Lake Mansarovar (4560 m- Chui Gompa). Enroute our journey, you will see the breathtaking views of Rakshas Taal (Lake Ravana) with background view of Holy Mount Kailash, where our vehicle will take short break for photography. And you will stopover in Lake Manasarovar for holy dip and perform homage to Mt. Kailash & Mansarovar as per your own religious way. After lunch, you will go for Lake Parikrama, the bus will stop in midpoint where the clear lake water available to fill the holy water into your bottle or gallon to take into your home for the families and relatives. Today morning again, you will have another chance to pray and get blessing of Lake Manasarovar. After breakfast, you will drive to Darchen and check into the hotel. Darchen is the base camp to start the Mt. Kailash Parikrama (Kora). You can also have close darshan of Mt. Kailash from here. Darchen is also being small town where you can walk around the market to buy any souvenir products or essentials things for Kailash kora and the walking is also helpful for the acclimatization. • Lake Manasarovar to Darchen distance: 40 km / 1 hour

Today morning after early breakfast, you should be ready by 9 am to begin the most important part of our yatra going for Kailash parikrama. In the morning around 10 am, we will reach Yama Dwar (OR Sherson / 4750m) after driving about 20 minutes from Darchen. Yama Dwar is the auspicious gateway to the Parikrama (circuit) around the Mt. Kailash. The group will have best opportunity for the nearest view of Mt. Kailash and receive wonderful darshan. Also, the group will split from this end in two parts. Those who are going ahead to attempt parikrama by foot or by horse ride will continue their trek journey. And who are not going for Parikrama will return back to Darchen after Yama Dwar & Kailash darshan. Our guide will assist to manage the transport for their return journey into Hotel at Darchen and they have to wait for two days in Darchen until trekkers group return back. And the parikrama / trekkers group will continue their first day of parikrama (kora) trekking towards Diraphuk. Today you will have easy and flat trekking trail with short gradual climbs. The trek will last for 7 hours covering about 14 kms distance in first day. Today you will have full of blessings with the majestic darshan of three faces of Mt. Kailash - 1) South face from Yama Dwar, 2) West face from the midpoint Teashop & 3) North face from Diraphuk where we are staying overnight camp. Reaching Diraphuk, our guide or Sherpa will assist you for accommodation in the guesthouse and also serve hot tea/coffee in room. Here you will be lucky and will have blessings from Lord Shiva to see the closest view of North face of Mt. Kailash. Also, one who reached early in the afternoon and fit healthy can go for Charan Sparsh of Mt. Kailash with another short hike about 2 hours (if there is not restriction by China Government to visit Charan Sparsh region). • Overnight at Guesthouse or Tented Lodge (basic accommodation with dormitory room) • Darchen to Yam Dwar: 6 km / 20 minutes drive • Yama Dwar to Diraphuk trek: 14 km / 7 hrs

Today we have to start our trekking journey to Zuthulphuk before dawn. So, our team will serve you the earliest breakfast in the morning and begin uphill trekking continue till Dolma-la Pass (5600m). We can say this is the toughest day of the whole trip. The trail start from your guesthouse will continue ascent until you cross Dolma-la pass. After you descend from high pass, you will soon notice the holy lake – Gauri Kunda at bottom of the hill. It is believed that Parvati (the consort of Lord Shiva) took holy bath in this glacial lake and thus it became holy water. The downhill trails rapidly drops to the valley of Zuthulphuk and then the trails will continue go flat alongside of river until Zuthulphuk Monastery where your guesthouse accommodation will also arrange. You will trek about 22 km distance within 9 - 10 hours today. • Overnight at Guesthouse (basic accommodation with dormitory room) • Diraphuk to Zuthulphuk Gomba: 22 km / 9 to 10 hours trek

Trekkers (Parikrama) group will have flat and easy trekking today with short distance for 2 hours. After breakfast in the early morning, you will start your hike to near Darchen valley. The distance is about 7 km and at the end of trek point you will find our vehicle waiting for us. After all group members reach in that pick up point, our vehicle will take us to Darchen and have breakfast then continue drive to Purang (Taklakot). After check into the hotel, be refresh and you have free time in Taklakot to wonder around the market for shopping or do relaxation on your own. • Overnight at Hotel (twin or triple sharing room with attached bathroom) • Zuthulphuk to trek ending point: 2 hours walk - 11 km (approx.) • Trek ending point to Purang: 145 km / 3 hours drive

Early morning breakfast and drive descend to Sher / Hilsa border. The guide will manage all formalities of immigration follow by military officer till Sher border. After immigration & customs clearance, we will exit to Hilsa (Nepal Border) by crossing suspension bridge of Karnali River. Our Hilsa representative will assist to receive us in the border with arranging necessary porters. Our local Hilsa representative will assist to clear our immigration of Nepal side and you will be standby in the helipad to fly from Hilsa to Simikot as per our chopper schedule. The helicopter can come at anytime in the morning as per weather situation to receive us. Our Hilsa representative will help to board you & your luggage in Helicopter. On arriving Simikot, our tour manager or Simikot representative will assist you for the next flight to Nepalgunj continuously as per available flight schedule. And when you reach Nepalgunj our representative transfer to hotel or Lucknow as per the program schedule of the guests.
